After college, he became more well versed in many popular styles of music while working on cruise ships, playing in musicals, various cover bands, and some original projects.

David has taught my 6 year old guitar. He shows flexibility and patience with a younger student, and has creative ways to teach him and simplify the lesson plans. David is extremely professional. He genuinely wants his students to enjoy playing music as they learn by understanding their interests and musical preferences.
I highly recommend David if you are looking for someone with a down to earth approach and a passion and talent that is clearly evident within his lessons. - Deborah H.
Our 14 year old son has only been taking guitar lessons with Dave for a few months and the results have been amazing. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and he is aleady a better picker than me. He no longer obsesses with video games, now preferring to pick up the guitar and practice that week's lesson.
Dave is a highly talented and reliable instructor. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering learning the guitar, or just wanting to polish up the skills they already have. - Pat O'Brien
David Martin’s Guitar Lessons are everything that I was looking for. As a student with little experience as from childhood I decided to get back into guitar and David was able to provide exercises and songs that prompted quick learning. He is very flexible in his lessons and allows for you to make suggestions and requests. I wanted to learn some theory and chord structure as well and he is able to efficiently teach me as I progress. I have made great progress over the last few months and am incredibly pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend every skill level, and age group, to try David’s Guitar Lessons. - Dallas Bonner, 20.
