This Summer, David Martin fullfilled one of his lifelong dreams - that of bringing his show to his hometown of Coshocton, Ohio and performing for the folks there.
Since his 30th High School Reunion (CHS Class of '75) was taking place in early July, David decided it would be a perfect time to do some shows in Columbus and Coshocton around that date. The Ohio media and fans had been so encouraging, David wanted to thank them in person.
David arrived in style, having travelled across the country in his 45 foot long VanHool tour bus that features all the creature comforts. David has been a bus-lover for years and he was thrilled to be able to take his new bus out for a spin, meeting and greeting wonderful people in every state.
The band rocked Columbus The Park Street Tavern in the downtoand the in the University area. Many friends and family came to the shows and David and the band were very touched by their support.
To warm up the crowds, David brought along a group of young rappers from Vallejo called the GC's or Ghetto Celebrities, featuring Karon the Don, Cozy Montana, Rated, and Rahk.
For the Coshocton show, David was honored to also feature Coshocton's own Ray Valentine, a talented local rapper who has been making a name for himself with his album, " ".
